17 years old - my menustral cycle - please help!!?

I had very irregular cycles when I first started. But I started at 10 years of age, as every other female in my family did. Sometimes I even had two periods a month. They were short at first and very light, more like spotting, but after about 6 months they lengthened themselves out and became more regular. But I think alot of women are different. I think your body might sort itself out in that area, but if you find it to be bothersome or stressful to you, you might just want to go in to see the doctor just to clear your mind. Hope this helps.
