Briggs: the blame gae - his corner, ref, or doctor?

Both the referee and corner are heavily at blame for the damage that Briggs was allowed to suffer. Though, you could first point the finger at the ref. The ref is suppose to look after the better well-being of both fighters equally, regardless if that fighter is winning or losing. The corner should have called the fight as well, but not all corners strong support the well-being of their fighter(s). I think Briggs' corner was either hoping for a late upset miracle or simply wanted to let him get some sort of sick morale victory in finishing the fight. Either way, that's not putting a fighter's health first on the corner's part. Since the ref doesn't (or shouldn't) have an obligation to see miracle upsets or morale victories, it is the reason I would point to him first. Still, both, the corner and ref did a terrible job watching out for the fighter's well-being.
