Can you legaly smoke under 18?

It is illegal to sell tobacco to a minor, the line between actually smoking though is very thin and vague, especially state to state. Police may take it from you, and some of the police that are especially messed up in the head and have a strong napoleon complex going may even write you up and give a note to your parents, but I've only heard stories of that happening, and I saw it on cops once. My best guess is nobody will really care.
