Do most Democrats not even know or support the DNC platform?

I ask folks why they are Dem's and they give reasons more ociated with the right. Half just say they like Obama not knowing or understanding his policy's. Every attack I see on religion, traditional values, or the military comes from the left but then Dem's get angry when anyone points this out and then its denial. Are they confused? Are they pro labor atheist socialists like many claim or open hearted Christians just trying to help the poor? Radical enviro terrorists or pro hunting conservationists? Do they support the troops or think they are taking part in war crimes?
