Does windows 7 play older games like Jumpstart, Cluefinder, scooby doo?

I need to buy my kids a new computer and the one I am looking at has windows 7 on it. I am not sure if they will play there pc games like oregon trail, scooby doo, cluefinder and jumpstart? anyone know if it will play these games
