I suddenly over night got curly hair on my head. I do have a natural wave but never curly.?

I am on medication, one is considered a chemotherapy drug for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have asked both my doctors, family and Rheumatologist and they have no idea. No such side effects are listed. It was predominantly on my left side but now the curls are also on my right side.
